DSPT version 9 out September 1st

NHS England has confirmed that this year's Data Security and Protection Toolkit (version 9) will be released on Tuesday 1st September.

What this means for you

If you have already submitted version 9, you do not need to do anything. If you have not, you now have time — but the standards themselves have not changed.

1. Check which version of the toolkit applies to your service
2. Review your evidence against the mandatory assertions
3. Submit before 30 June 2027
