DSPT deadline moved to 30 September

NHS England has extended this year's Data Security and Protection Toolkit submission date. Drop-in clinics run every Tuesday.

NHS England has confirmed that this year's Data Security and Protection Toolkit submission date has moved to 30 September. The original deadline was 30 June.

What this means for you

If you have already submitted, you do not need to do anything. If you have not, you now have extra time — but the standards themselves have not changed.

  1. Check which version of the toolkit applies to your service
  2. Review your evidence against the mandatory assertions
  3. Submit before 30 September

Getting help

Our DSPT drop-in clinics run every Tuesday and are free to any provider in North London. You can bring a part-finished submission, or start from scratch with us.

Full guidance is available on the DSPT support page, and you can email the team directly at dspt@cpvlondon.co.uk.
